my latest empty products

Most people do a monthly empties post, now, I don't know how the hell you get through so many products, that's crazy (but I love reading them so please, don't stop.) so this is more of a collective empty products post.
Also, can I just apologise, I don't know why the second picture is so bright, how peculiar..

I know everyone is going to judge me for using baby wipes, but they're just so convenient! I use these to remove my make up before cleansing and the rest of the shabang. These are lovely and gentle, don't make my face go red at all so yeah, a product I will always repurchase, unless Huggies are on offer, they're my faves.

Potentially my favourite cleanser in the world that I repurchase time after time, Lush Angels on Bare Skin. This is incredibly gentle as it's packed with essential oils, particularly Lavender Oil so it's really, really soothing. There is ground almonds and lavender seeds in there so it gives a really nice exfoliation that's really gentle on the skin. What more can I say? It's a gentle product haha!
The MUA Primer is one from their original range. This cost me £4 and I don't regret buying it, but I don't think it made a whole lot of difference to be honest. It was strangely kind of drying but it did smooth my skin for a short while however it had no impact on staying power.

I bought Superdrugs Little Green Tin simply because it was there. I didn't need it but why the hell not spend money you don't have?! This was aaaaaawful. I never use anything like this or Vaseline on my lips, but I use it on dry skin, particularly if my feet could do with a little more (mmm.). Whereas a tin of Vaseline can last me a month or two, this probably lasted me about 4 applications because I had to keep applying more as it just dried up and did nothing.
I got the Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash in a magazine a while ago and I really liked it! It removed every trace of my make up and didn't leave me with that squeeky clean feel. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase, I do prefer a cream or balm cleanser, but if I ever fancy a change, I'll go for this one.

Lastly, a product that isn't even empty, just so awful I don't want it or want to give it to someone else. The Vaseline Aloe Fresh body lotion left me feeling SO greasy, to the point I'd be removing my tights at the end of a day and they would still be stuck to them. It made no difference on the condition of my skin or anything.

So the next empties post will probably come sometime in the next century, so keep your eyes peeled!

Lucky you, you won't find the Vaseline Body Lotion in my giveaway! But click here to find what you could win!

January empties!

Now, I'm not one to finish products - sadly haha! But this month I have, and these are what I'm loving at the moment. There's only four, but it's a start, yeah?

I reviewed this product here. The Clear Improvements mask from Origins is a brilliant product. I'd never really used masks before, but after sampling this, I really understand how much help they actually give. I'm not sure if I'll purchase this yet, perhaps I'll see what other masks are on the market - any suggestions?

Now, everyone with white/blonde hair will use this product, so I don't feel I have to justify it too much when I say that this product does exactly what it says on the bottle. My only grumble is that it's SO messy! Every bottle that I've purchased, for some reason, I have product coming out of the top of the bottle when I'm not using it and it's so annoying because it's wasting so much. Does anyone else have this problem?

I got a free sample of this in a magazine a week or so ago, and I will definitely not be buying it. It did absolutely nothing for my hair, no shine at all. There was no where near enough product in this sample either, it only slightly covered about half of my hair. Yeah, not too impressed.

Well, I never thought I'd ever love a hair product. Having dry, brittle, very knotty hair due to bleaching, I've tried so many products from high end to Morrisons own (which by the way, that condition definitely comes second best to this one!) and I've never been completely satisfied. But I picked one bottle of this up when I noticed it on offer in Boots, tried it once, and ran straight back to pick up four more. This is SO lovely, and smells gooorgeous. There's no artificial scent, it just smells clean and lovely. I like to properly coat my hair in conditioner and leave it for about 4 minutes, and this was just perfect. You don't need too much product, it's quite thick, but a little goes a long way - I always end up using too much. Really great product overall!

So what are your favourites? Link me to any videos/posts!
I'm also on the look out for a really kind person to illustrate a picture of me for my blog - let me know if you can/know anyone, I'd be SUPER grateful!

my 5 empties #1

I wish I had a better camera so these images looked much better, but bare with me!

1. No7 Creme Touch Face Powder £8.50
2. Barry M Nail Paint £2.99
3. Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama Mascara
4. Simple Soothing Facial Toner £2.99
5. Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation £6.99

1. This No7 was such a good buy! It applies really well with the aid of a large brush and smooths out my complexion. It lasts well and also keeps it's colour good. When I was getting to the end of this product, I started to use another powder and used this as a highlighter.. sort of! By flattening out the brush into a line, I'd put the end of it into the powder and apply it onto my cheekbone/above blusher/bronzer whilst still in the line. It looked really good as it was slightly paler than my other powder.
I hope that made sense!

2. Anyone that knows me will know I am a massive nail varnish fan! I love Barry M because it's affordable and has lovely colours. To me, it being long lasting doesn't matter so much as I tend to change ever few days. I love this shade, it's not one I would usually go for but I will definitely be buying it again when going for a more natural, nude look.

3. I love the whole range of mascaras by Maybelline, but this was probably the first one I bought and I loved it ever since. It creates both volume and length really well in only a few applications, but it also grabs every lash creating a much fuller look.

4. To me, this Simple skin care range are the best, high street brand out at the moment, I use most of their items, but sadly not this anymore! This toner makes your skin feel smooth and clean as well as looking fresh and even. I'm currently using a Garnier toner at the moment, so let's see what this is like and whether I should return to this one.

5. After using this foundation for around 2 years, my skin started to work against it, and it just didn't sit properly on me, it didn't look right. I've used many more since then but no foundations have worked as well as this one. It's a perfect shade for me and gives the best coverage. It feels light and it smells gorgeous!

I'm sad to see these go, but what are your opinions on these? Do you have any good alternatives? Let me know!
