leibster award number 5! you spoil me.

How exciting! I've managed to get myself another Leibster award, this time from Emily, and I still feel as proud as I did receiving my first. Like my last one, which you can find here, I'm only going to answer the questions I was given - I don't want to bore you guys!

My questions were -

1. What's your favourite item of clothing or jewelry?
Difficult one! My boyfriend gave me a bracelet that he made for Christmas this year, sentimentally, this is definitely my favourite piece of jewelry, so cute. Clothing.. I actually have the same top in 3 different colours from H&M. I don't think they sell it anymore, but it's basically an over sized basic t-shirt, I have it in cream and shimmer, bronze and shimmer and plain grass green.

2. What's your biggest fashion faux pas in history?
When I was in school, aged about 14-16, I used to be well into the "Scene" style. I dyed my hair jet black and wore tight band t-shirts and skinny jeans all the time which, considering my figure, looked HORRENDOUS. I also wore hair extensions and backcombed all my hair till it literally stood up straight.

3. What's your favourite skin care or cosmetic product and why?
I've been sat with my head in my make up box for 10 minutes trying to come up with an answer for this! I think it may be the YSL Touche Eclat foundation. It's just such a perfect formula for my skin and makes me feel a million dollars when I'm wearing it! There's a review here.

4. Timeless or trend?
Eeerm, I do like to stay on trend, buuut if that particular thing doesn't suit me or my figure, I'm more than happy to stick with my last season favourites that I know look good on me.

5. What is your biggest fear?
I am scared of EVERYTHING. I definitely think my biggest fear though is the unknown. I hate not knowing what's coming, whether it's not knowing how uni will be, or not knowing if something is creeping around in the middle of the dark night. Creepy!

6. What accomplishment are you most proud of? 
Honestly? This blog. I've never put so much time or effort into anything I've ever done. I love to see it pay off by people leaving the nicest comments and of course, winning these awards!

7. Water or wine?
I love both, however it would not be practical at all to be drinking wine all the time, as much as I wish it would be haha! I'll go for water.

8. Is your glass half empty or half full?
Sadly, half empty! I don't like to get my hopes up for things and I know that's such an awful way to look at it but hey, anything else is then a bonus!

9. Heels or flats?
I love a good heel, even if it's just a small one on a boot! I wish I had more opportunity to wear heels (and more pairs!) but it just isn't practical :(

10. Whose sense of style do you idolize?
Erm, I don't really think I follow any kind of style, or massively keep an eye on it! I just like what I like haha.

11. Who is the worst dressed celebrity to date?
Like I said above, I don't really have much of an idea about that kind of thing!

i've won my second leibster award!

So this is the second time I've been nominated for the Leibster award, and it makes me so happy to know people are reading and recognising my blog. I sometimes think that I'm talking to an empty audience, so it's always nice to know that people are taking notice! I'll get on with it.

4. I've been with my boyfriend almost 11 months.

5. I love my cat so much.

6. I'm starting a *job* being an English Language mentor tomorrow!

8. I bought my first ever concealer today! God knows why, I've needed it for so long.

9. I'm ridiculously excited for Christmas!

10. I cannot wake up before 9am, I'm so lazy.

11. Leeds Festival 2012 was one of the best experiences of my life.

1. If you had to sum up yourself using only three words, what would they be?

Cheerful, honest aaaand loving!

2. What is your favourite perfume?

This one is so, so difficult! I think it's got to be DKNY Golden Delicious, I receive so many compliments when wearing it!

3. What is your favourite musical?

Joseph and the Amazing Technicoloured Dream Coat! Absolutely amazing :)

4. Is there a musical artist you listen to which others might not expect you to?

I listen to Eminem all the time, I don't think people would expect that?!

5. Which city in the world would you most like to see?

I think Japan or Hong Kong, I'd love to see their culture.

6. What's you favourite way to spend your Saturday night?

If I had the money, I would be going out all the time! That sounds awful, but it's fun, I'm young!

7. Of all the movies which have been released this year, what has been your favourite?

The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I've not seen many films at all this year but I looooved this.

8. How many piercings do you have?

I had my lip pierced, there's still a bit of a hole? Hahaha

9. What is your favourite thing about Winter?

Wearing thick jumpers and being able to see your breath, but most importantly, snow!

10. What fashion trend are you loving the most at the moment?

It's not exactly a trend, but I'm loving the colour burgundy, it looks amazing this time of year.

Helloooo! Well, considering I've only been blogging around a month, I was super excited when I saw I'd been nominated for this by the wonderful Rachael over at '5'1, is the new 6'2'.
I'll be honest, I was (and still am) sliiiightly confused about exactly what it is, but nevertheless, I'm incredibly proud to get it, it makes me feel like what I'm saying is actually getting somewhere. So, let me get on with it, time for you to get to know me better!

Here are my 11 questions from Rachael:

1. Why do you blog? I blog because I have always wanted to get what I have to say out there! Originally, I did it so I could get a bit of experience in Journalism before starting a course at University, but now I've really gotten into it, it's something I'm quite serious about, it has changed my career prospects and it just makes me super happy.
2. Hair care or make-up if you had to pick one? I'm going to have to say make-up! I can deal with my hair not looking it's best (just about!) but I love trying out new make-up.
3. If you could pick any city for a night out which and why? I would love to try Manchester one night! I've never been but I know so many people who say so many good things about it.
4. Heels or Flats and why? (I know which I am! *cough* heels *cough*) Heels! I'd love to wear heels all the time. They're so prettyyyy. 
5. Your BIGGEST annoyance about blogging? Not being able to think of anything decent to blog! Or getting an idea, starting it and then realising that what you're saying is just completely pointless. 
6. Craziest drunk act? I don't think I really have anything! I'm quite a sensible junk, I'm quite a funny drunk rather than a 'crazy act' drunk.
7. Can you speak any other languages, if so, what? If not, do you want to? I can speak German and French, to an extent. That was going on 3 years ago though haha.
8. Would you ever sky dive? (I have a strange curiosity about this hehe) No way. No. Not at all. No... No. 
9. Favourite phrase/quote and why? Treat people how you wish to be treated. I think it's incredibly important, if you respect someone, they'll respect you. If they don't respect you, they're not worth your time. 
10. What's your dream job? My dream job would be to work in theatre. I did Performing Arts and Music at college, but as much as I'd love to do it, a dream is all it is to me. 
11. Have you read an erotic novel - if yes, which and why? (Don't you ladies lie to me!) Well I've read the 50 Shade series! That's all though. I started reading it before the 'hype'. My friend recommended it to me, but didn't exactly say what it was about, cheeky!
